Jolly Phonics & Reading Program

Our Jolly Phonics Program provides children with a fun, structured, and multisensory approach to developing early literacy and phonics skills. Through songs, stories, actions, and hands-on activities, children learn letter sounds, sound blending, and early reading and spelling skills in an engaging and supportive environment. The program is designed to build strong foundational literacy skills while developing children’s confidence and enjoyment of reading.

Suitable for children who:

  • Are beginning to learn letter sounds and early phonics skills

  • Need support developing early reading and spelling foundations

  • Have difficulty recognising and remembering letter sounds

  • Are learning to blend sounds to read simple words

  • Need support with sound awareness and phonological skills

  • Would benefit from a structured and multisensory approach to literacy learning

  • Are preparing for preschool, kindergarten, or early primary school literacy

  • Would like to strengthen their confidence and enjoyment in reading and writing

Program Features:

  • Letter-Sound Learning – Introducing letter sounds using Jolly Phonics songs, stories, actions, and visual cues

  • Multisensory Learning – Combining listening, movement, visual learning, and hands-on activities to reinforce learning

  • Phonological Awareness – Developing awareness of sounds in spoken words, including identifying, listening for, and manipulating sounds

  • Blending Skills – Teaching children to combine individual sounds to read words

  • Segmenting Skills – Helping children break words into individual sounds to support spelling and writing

  • Tricky Words – Introducing high-frequency words that cannot always be read using regular phonics patterns

  • Early Reading Skills – Building confidence in decoding and reading simple words and sentences

  • Early Spelling Skills – Supporting children in applying phonics knowledge to spell and write words

  • Handwriting & Letter Formation – Reinforcing correct letter formation alongside sound learning

  • Vocabulary & Comprehension – Expanding language and understanding through stories, songs, and meaningful literacy activities

  • Confidence Through Learning – Creating positive, engaging experiences that encourage children to participate and develop a love for literacy

Art & Craft Program

Our Art & Craft Program provides children with opportunities to explore creativity, self-expression, and hands-on learning through a variety of fun and engaging art experiences. Through drawing, painting, cutting, building, and creating, children develop practical skills while exploring their imagination, making choices, and gaining confidence in their own ideas and abilities.

Suitable for children who:

  • Enjoy drawing, painting, crafting, and creative activities

  • Would benefit from opportunities for creative self-expression

  • Need support developing fine motor skills and hand coordination

  • Are developing attention, focus, and the ability to complete activities

  • Would benefit from practising following instructions and completing multi-step tasks

  • Are learning to make choices, plan, and express their own ideas

  • Need opportunities to build confidence through hands-on activities

  • Enjoy learning and exploring through creative and sensory experiences

  • Creative Expression – Encouraging children to express their ideas, interests, and emotions through art

  • Fine Motor Development – Strengthening hand skills through cutting, colouring, drawing, painting, gluing, and manipulating materials

  • Hand-Eye Coordination – Developing coordination and control through hands-on creative activities

  • Sensory Exploration – Exploring different textures, materials, colours, and tools in a supportive environment

  • Following Instructions – Building the ability to listen, follow steps, and complete creative projects

Mandarin Lessons

Our Mandarin Language Program provides children with a fun, engaging, and structured environment to develop foundational Mandarin language skills. Through songs, stories, games, movement, and interactive activities, children are encouraged to listen, speak, understand, and gradually build confidence using Mandarin in everyday situations.

Suitable for children who:

  • Are beginning to learn Mandarin

  • Have limited exposure to Mandarin and would like to build foundational skills

  • Would benefit from developing listening and speaking skills in a second language

  • Need support building Mandarin vocabulary and sentence structures

  • Enjoy learning through songs, stories, games, and interactive activities

  • Would benefit from opportunities to practise communicating in a group setting

  • Are developing confidence in using Mandarin in everyday situations

  • Would like to develop an early foundation for reading and writing Chinese characters

Program Features:

  • Listening & Comprehension – Developing understanding of Mandarin words, phrases, and simple instructions

  • Speaking & Pronunciation – Building confidence in using Mandarin through guided conversation and interactive activities

  • Vocabulary Development – Introducing practical vocabulary related to everyday topics, routines, and children’s interests

  • Pinyin & Tones – Developing awareness of Mandarin pronunciation, sounds, and tones

  • Sentence Building – Supporting children in using simple words and sentence structures to express themselves

  • Songs & Rhymes – Using music, rhythm, and repetition to make language learning fun and memorable

  • Stories & Picture Books – Building vocabulary and comprehension through age-appropriate Mandarin stories

  • Games & Interactive Activities – Creating opportunities for children to practise Mandarin naturally through play

  • Chinese Character Awareness – Introducing basic Chinese characters through engaging, age-appropriate activities

  • Cultural Exploration – Introducing children to aspects of Chinese culture and traditions through language, stories, crafts, and celebrations

  • Confidence & Communication – Creating a supportive environment where children feel comfortable listening, speaking, and participating in Mandarin
