Our Foundational Social Explorers Program supports children who are developing early communication, play, and social interaction skills. Through structured, play-based group activities, children are supported in building foundational skills that help them participate, connect, and learn alongside others. Activities are individualized to each child’s strengths, needs, abilities, and developmental goals.

Suitable for children who:

Are developing foundational communication and social interaction skills

Have difficulty engaging in shared or functional play

Need support with joint attention, imitation, or turn-taking

Have difficulty interacting or participating alongside peers

Need support following simple group routines and instructions

Have difficulty transitioning between activities or managing changes

Would benefit from support with emotional regulation and social participation

Are developing early problem-solving, flexibility, and independence skills

Foundational Social Explorer
Our Social Communicators Program supports children with stronger communication and cognitive abilities in developing more advanced social communication, friendship, and problem-solving skills. Through structured group activities, role-play, and real-life social practice, children learn to navigate social situations with greater confidence, flexibility, and independence.

Suitable for children who:

Have stronger communication and cognitive abilities but experience challenges with social interaction

Have difficulty initiating, maintaining, or ending conversations

Need support understanding social cues, perspectives, or expectations

Have difficulty developing and maintaining friendships

Experience challenges with social problem-solving or managing disagreements
-
Need support with flexible thinking and adapting to unexpected situations

Have difficulty managing emotions or navigating challenging social situations

Would benefit from developing greater confidence and independence in peer interactions
