About Us

We meet the child where they are, connect through what they love, and build from there.

Our Belief

WHOA is the sound of surprise, and that is exactly why we chose it. Every child and teenager is unique, with strengths, abilities and potential that the world may not have noticed yet.

Our early intervention work is built on guidance, love and care for children and teenagers who need someone to believe in them and walk alongside them. We look past the challenges and focus on strengths, because with trust, encouragement and the right opportunities, children discover just how capable they are.

And one day they surprise us with something all their own. That is the moment we say “WHOA!”

Our Approach

Every child has their own way of learning, connecting and growing. Our approach is child-centred and guided by DIRFloortime, because meaningful progress starts with connection, relationships and understanding each child as an individual.

We follow their interests, build on their strengths, and create real opportunities for them to connect, communicate, learn and grow at their own pace. There is no one-size-fits-all plan here — we start by getting to know who a child is.

Child-Centred at Heart

Our work is grounded in the DIRFloortime model: Developmental, Individual differences, Relationship-based. This means we meet children where they are, follow their lead, and use the power of warm, attuned relationships to support growth.
